ABOUT CHRISTOPHER MORGAN

As a supply chain professional, developing new and innovative methods that solve problems and profitably grow business value in my passion. My specialty is assessing current operations and creating and launching the forward-thinking, cross-functional strategies that drive ongoing process and system improvements in extremely complex supply chain arenas. Within market leaders Armada, PPG, Heinz and Edy’s Ice Cream, I have held internal and external facing supply chain roles with escalating responsibility across highly complex inventory management, transportation and warehousing functions. Recognized as an insightful, decisive, versatile leader, I incorporate a relationship-based, safety focused approach to implementing new solutions/systems, controlling costs, and maximizing service levels across all levels of an organization – direct and indirect. I lead from the front, building inclusive cultures of accountability, ownership and respect that work in alignment to drive business success. During my time with Armada, I have led the large, cross-functional organizational pillar (Center of Gravity – COG), which is directly tied to corporate strategy. I also executed 25 distinct projects through the 2021 fiscal year that range from systems implementations, cost savings and process improvements. I led multiple sourcing events that encompassed $400M in transportation spend and built protocol for Armada that won EPA SmartWay Excellence Award for environmental excellence within the US Transportation industry. Since establishing, Armada has won the award four times in six years. I now serve as the Director of Warehouse Operations, and a key member of the Operations Leadership Team for Armada. My goal is to continue to deliver the outstanding business results, and innovative cost savings, which have become the hallmark of my career. My Core Competencies include…o P&L Managemento 3PL Expertiseo Cost Controls ǀ Fiscal Disciplineso Risk Mitigationo Cross-functional People Managemento Leadership (Accountability, Communication and Efficiency)o Continuous Improvemento Process and Systems Improvemento Data-driven Decision Makingo Forecasting and Analysiso Excellent Communication and Writing Abilitieso Contract Negotiation and Administrationo Vendor Vetting and Managemento Relationship Building / Managemento Senior-level Reporting
