   Chris Mitchell, P.E, Principal and Vice President of Operations (VPO), has been a licensed professional engineer for 15 years and has 19 years of engineering design experience. Chris was owner/operator of his previous firm The Mitchell Engineering Group for 4 years, which has now merged with J.R. Evans Engineering. His role as VPO includes assisting in company operations and growing the company into new markets and disciplines furthering the continued growth of the firm. He returned to ​southwest Florida after graduating from Purdue University in 1995 and the University of Cincinnati in 1997. His design and project management experience includes single family and multi-family residential developments, commercial retail developments, commercial industrial developments, institutional developments, golf course improvements, single-family surface water management plans, and utility master planning for water, waste water and irrigation. He is also responsible for project management, client development and staff management. Chris has been serving clients’ land development needs in a continually changing permitting environment in southwest Florida for the past 18 years. He incorporates the company’s foundation of honesty, a strong work ethic, and an overall commitment to the success of our clients in completing each project.
