This position develops and implements the Business Partner Safety Standards program for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. It serves as an expert in safety, working with operational business partners and alliance partners to ensure a single level of safety at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. The program manager assists in developing long term strategies, processes, and tools that lead to better transparency, partnership, and consistency with business partner safety performance. This position works closely with our operating divisions, business partners, Supply Chain, and Alliances to find innovative solutions to enhance and promote the level of safety and flow of safety information, as well as best safety practices across partners. Areas of focus include the Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air Safety Management System (SMS), safety culture, and safety sustainability.
