Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of membership and education for the organization as well as the members services/customer relations team. Work closely with Kiwanis board members and membership volunteer leaders. Serve as the primary point of contact for all membership-related issues. Work closely with the chief operating officer, executive director, and other departments to develop and implement a department strategy to grow the organization and provide excellent customer service to our members. Provide direction, support, and assistance in opening new clubs, membership recruitment and retention, and training for volunteer team members. Develop and implement membership growth strategies and tactics. Work directly with the education team to ensure volunteers (new club openers, club coaches, certified trainers, etc.) are aligned with the overall membership objectives. Conduct volunteer trainings on how to open new clubs and recruiting and retaining members.Work closely with the members of the global operations team to develop goals, strategies, plans and budgets in order to achieve the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the organization and the International Office.Oversee comprehensive education program for Kiwanis leaders. Develop and deploy new education programs to various leaders throughout the organization. Ensure levels of the organization receive the materials and support needed to educate their teams. Provide appropriate support, materials and training for district events and international conventions.
