About Christopher Mahn

I lead drug development programs end-to-end — strategy, governance, and execution from IND-enabling through clinical proof of concept. I\'ve shaped and led programs across cell therapy and various engager platforms — leading cross-functional teams and managing strategy, timelines, and budgets up to $40M.At Neogene Therapeutics, I managed execution across three cell therapy programs that reached successful INDs in under three years. Through multiple leadership transitions, I was the steady hand that kept teams aligned and programs moving. That work contributed to AstraZeneca\'s acquisition and milestones tied to a $120M contingent-milestone payment. Post-acquisition, I advocated for a program leadership role rather than a project management track — and have since taken full ownership of asset strategy, governance, and execution.Over 15+ years in drug development, I\'ve learned how to translate complex science into executable strategy. The through-line across every role has been the same: make sound critical decisions early, steward resources carefully, and keep teams aligned when the path forward isn\'t obvious.
