About Christopher M.
I am a First-Generation Mechanical Engineer Graduate! I always exemplified integrity, honesty, and respect as a visionary. I am capable of managing complex projects and systems.Currently, I am content working as a CNC Machinist I with the team at Turbotron, Inc. I am learning how all the various processes work with several machines and detailed steps, remaining focused, determined and diligent. My goals are to pass the FE Mechanical exam in Florida, and to finally start gaining professional technical experience working as a precision machinist, developing high-quality relationships and professional skills. My mechanical design experience is proficient with AutoCAD Autodesk & SolidWorks, 2D/3D drawings, parts and assemblies, performing Static Simulations for Von Mises Stress, URES unloading and loading displacement, and Finite Element Analysis. I am competent coding software with Arduino IDE, Python, C and C++; as well as navigating operating systems like Windows, iOS, and Linux.May 2024, I graduated and earned my BSME with a specialization in Aerospace at the Florida Polytechnic University. During Spring 2024, my final semester, I had to individually restart and complete my Capstone project the final 6 weeks. I invented the CLEAN, Chase\'s Lunar Excavation Attachment Node, an alpha and beta prototype mechanical design proof of concept for NASA robots performing missions on the Moon!Spring 2023, I assembled my own electric longboard! It weighed 30 lbs with forged carbon fiber board, 12s4p Molicell P42A 21700 lithium-ion battery (48V/16Ah/725 Wh, 120 Amps Max-Current), Dual Direct-Drive motors (4kW Max-Power and 80 Amps Max-Current), and an Electronic Speed Microcontroller (Dual ESC, 100 Amp Max-Current). Using the VESC software tool app via Bluetooth on my smartphone, I programmed the settings of the electrical system. I set the current max motor output to 80 amps because my electrical system was bottlenecked by the motor’s max-current limit, max-power to 4kW, and motor temperature cutoff & max to 80C & 100C, respectively. E-Board produced 14 Watt-hours-per-mile average efficiency, 32 mph top speed, and 27 miles optimal range!I was a Scrutineer Intern for SRO Motorsports at the Fanatec GT America Challenge, hosted at Sebring International Raceway in October 2021. I scanned tire sets on pit lane using a Palm Pilot device. I measured the specific density and temperature of the top 3 finisher\'s race fuel samples for the first GT3 race, and I transported race data saved on a thumb stick drive to the race control tower safely for the second race.

I work as an Engineer Technician, machine operator, and quality-control inspector, with multiple roles! I disassemble, repair, assemble, balance, inspect and verify quality industrial products! I use the Calypso CMM and Keyence LM-X measurement scanner to test and validate the product\'s dimensions and specifications are within the required precise tolerance ranges, tenths of thousandths of inches, to where equals 0.025 millimeters! For example, if the shaft-to-bearing clearance is hypothetically between 1.5 to 2.5 thousandths of an inch, or 0.0015\" to 0.0025\", therefore, the range is 0.0010\", in this case. I have several duties and responsibilities I need to be able to self-manage what needs to be done with minimal to zero supervision. I work and create software programs on the computer with the Keyence LM-X precision-optical camera & laser height z-axis scanner. I use the Hofmann horizontal turbine balancer, laser-engraver, lathes, and mills. I polish, sand-blast, fix, repair and maintain the industrial products, formulate inspection reports, verify quality assurance before laser-engraving logos and serial numbers. I maintain the steamer, pressure washer, air compressor, air filter, chemical tanks and Bambu 3D-printer daily. I assure the industrial-level bearings, turbodiscs, turbines and bell cup atomizers are geocentrically balanced while spinning on the neutral-axis to diffuse paint uniformly with precision to satisfy the standards and professional needs of our high-profile industrial manufacturer clients. Acclimating myself to several processes, gaining proficiency with the machines and how to work on a variance of products will increase my efficiency of production, minimizing defects and errors by following standard procedures, following protocol with accuracy and consistency, and working systematically in industrial precision manufacturing.
