About Christopher Lewis

I have spent the last few years serving the public and am changing gears back into the technical world. I am an extremely driven individual who has proven my mechanical aptitude, problem solving, and interpersonal skills though a challenging and rewarding career from engineering to firefighting to emergency medical services. This combination of experience has molded me into the person I envisioned and allowed me to grow in areas that each field independently would have challenging to foster. I believe that teamwork, a proper vision, communication, and customer service are the groundwork for success in any field. Through a diverse work experience I have proven my ability not only to solve problems, but to do them under high stress environments without room for hesitation. My firefighting and EMS experience has proven my ability to lead, adapt, delegate, and teach. My engineering experience has given me notable aptitude in 3D component and system modeling, rapid prototyping, injection molding, thermal analysis, manufacturing processes, tolerance loop analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, specification development, design verification, quality inspection, process optimization, and cross functional collaboration. I have driven designs from conception to proven and sold patents in the start up world and from ideation to implementation in corporate.
