Then made history when his team advanced to Regional Semi-Final game after upsetting 9th ranked Beaver college. Becoming only the 4th coach in Maryland Junior College History to beat a #1 seed to advance in the 1st round of the tournament. The team finished 5th in Maryland Junior College state standings after being voted 14th in pre-season poll. The team won 17 games on the season when you exclude the administrative error that forced the forfeit of 4 wins that saw the team average 99 points per game while holding their opponents to 65 points per game. Coached two all-region performers and 1 all state performers as well.
