ABOUT CHRISTOPHER LESLIE
I’m the CEO of Inside Out Support Wales, but my journey into this work began in a prison cell.After leaving prison in 2018, I started rebuilding my life and founded Inside Out in 2019 to support others facing the same barriers I had. What began as a small lived-experience project has grown into an organisation working across prisons, probation services, and community partners throughout Wales. We deliver mentoring, training, and enterprise support to help people with convictions build confidence, access employment, and create stable futures.Alongside this, I serve as a trustee for the Hardman Trust and VIP, supporting strategies that focus on rehabilitation, violence prevention, and community development.I also work as a specialist criminal justice consultant, supporting statutory bodies, charities, and large organisations with policy development, employment pathways, and corporate social responsibility approaches that create real opportunities for people with convictions.My work is shaped by lived experience, practical delivery, and a belief that everyone deserves a genuine second chance.
