About Christopher Lathan
My professional mission has centered on the impact of class, race, region and other Social Determinates of Health, on access to high quality cancer diagnostics and treatments. Our work focuses on broadening access and ensuring the distribution of new treatment across all populations. The ultimate goal of the work, is to bridge the gap between research efforts in cancer diagnostics/therapeutics, and the realities of patient care, by developing innovative, patient-focused interventions that are thoroughly integrated within the clinical health care delivery system to allow for those communities that are most impacted to have the benefits of better outcomes. I remain a Thoracic Medical Oncologist, Clinical Innovator and Physician Executive, with a focus on health equity, and expanded access to care for all communities.
