ABOUT CHRISTOPHER LAM

Are you building something fantastic and looking to grow your team? Are you looking for a curious, collaborative and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to get the ball rolling? If you answered \"Yes\" to any of the questions above, then please stick around! My name is Chris, I graduated from the Northcoders Bootcamp on the 25th November 2022 and as of January 2024, I\'m currently looking for my first position within the tech industry as a Junior Software Engineer within the Manchester Area but open to both remote work and relocation. During the bootcamp I have learnt about the industry best practices of Agile Software Development (TDD, Pair Programming, Kanban, Standups and Scrum), as well as the following technical skills of: • JavaScript • TypeScript • React • React-Native • Redux • Node/Express • PostgreSQL • MongoDB/Mongoose • GraphQL/Apollo GraphQL • CI/CD with GitHub Actions In addition to this, during the bootcamp I wrote a weekly blog post describing my journey from the very beginning so feel free to give that a gander, links to my GitHub and Dev.to blog are at the end. I enjoy collaborating with people who are as passionate about tech as me, and I\'m constantly curious about new tech - so much so that I\'m currently learning more about TypeScript and Docker! When I\'m not both building and destroying things in my Git Repositories, I enjoy learning Japanese and engaging with fellow Japanese-learning enthusiasts in online communities!
