ABOUT CHRISTOPHER L.

Extensive experience in criminal justice and the military, leading teams and managing programs in law enforcement, emergency management, and intelligence. As Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, District IX, I partner with more than 100 Tribal Nations throughout California, supporting their development of independent criminal justice systems and serve as a trusted liaison to federal, state, and local counterparts.I leverage my background and broad network as an instructor across multiple disciplines to deliver dynamic, mission‑driven training in areas such as firearms, human trafficking, and emergency management. My credentials include certification as a Firearms Instructor through the U.S. Secret Service, the ALICE Training Institute, and military and law enforcement agencies — providing instruction on range safety, active shooter response, flying armed, and weapons maintenance. As a Certified Economic Crime Forensic Examiner, I have earned multiple awards for contributions to major task forces and large scale high‑impact investigations involving money laundering, identity theft, and human trafficking.I am often called upon to utilize my diverse expertise to maximize results, elevate performance, and strategically unite separate functions — for example, combining intelligence with emergency management or aligning drug enforcement with human trafficking initiatives. Driven by a passion for inspiring and challenging others to reach their full potential, I foster environments of high performance, accountability, and collaboration. These skills in particular have led to my assignment as acting Special Agent in Charge for 4 of the 9 BIA OJS Districts responsible for 464 of the 575 federally recognized tribes in the United States, and as the Associate Director of the Special Investigations Division overseeing nationwide narcotics, human trafficking, murder and missing persons investigations. This is my personal account and does not represent the views or positions of any government agency.
