I created Scallywag and Vagabond as an entreaty to satisfy my own curiosity as to social, cultural and human dialectics. By then fortunate to be immersed in a thriving art, social and fashion scene, I began to interview and feature revelers who I was mixing with, ever inspired by the burgeoning NYC scene and how it all managed to survive and manifest. Soon after I found myself curious as to the controversial, combustible and sought to further understand and report on the world at large. At one point, I managed a consortium of up to 15-20 freelance contributors, covering philanthropy, the fashion and art circuit as well as being a mainstay entertainment/celebrity reporter as well maintaining relationships with various media and public relation outlets in NYC- as well as a slew of advertising/monetization outlets- social media agencies and search engine outlets. Since then I continue to be intrigued by human affairs, policy, controversy and am quite keen to dissect a news story and what exactly is at stake and how such an issue unfolded and what we are to make of it.
