About Christopher Keenan

Since October of 2022, I have worked here at GEI to assist in growing our Dan Safety, Geotechnical and Engineering capabilities throughout the southeast. With 15 years of direct experience in the utility industry, as well as experience with large civil construction projects, I am looking to add to our already strong client base in these sectors. Prior to Joining GEI, I had the privilege of serving as the Program Manager / Client Account Lead for a large regional utility as part Wood / WSP\'s Client Account Program. In that role, I constantly worked to drive strategic teams to deliver for my program\'s customer. Directly responsible for annual client engagement target of over $25M. My utility/power sector experience includes Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR), Renewables (solar, wind, hydrogen, renewable natural gas), Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Natural Gas Pipelines, Nuclear, and Conventional Generation. Prior to my business development / CAM roles, I served as a Geotechnical / Civil Engineering professional with experience in site selection and evaluation, geotechnical explorations and evaluations, shallow and deep foundation design, site seismic classification, concrete and earthen dam design and repair/remediation, and Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) impoundment closures.
