ABOUT CHRISTOPHER J LEACH ACIARB
Christopher is a Chartered Building Surveyor and has over 15 years’ experience in residential and commercial property. He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He holds an Undergraduate (RICS accredited) degree in Building Surveying, during the completion of which he was awarded a RICS London Student Award. Christopher is an Associate Director of TMD Building Consultancy, an award winning, independent Chartered Building Surveying and Project Management practice in the heart of Oxford, and London. Christopher started his career in 2009 contractor-side, before moving to a general practice consultancy in central London in 2011, at Anderson Wilde and Harris, where he also gaining experience in rights of light. He spent a further 3 and a half years working in the Residential Building Consultancy at Knight Frank, working with high net-worth clients based in the UK and overseas. Subsequently he gained 5 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy. This afforded him to broaden his experience predominantly within the commercial, industry and educational sectors. Acting in the capacity of lead consultant, project manager, contract administrator and quality & progress monitor. He has experience working client-side at a top 100 global school. Christopher has extensive experience of the APC process, is a RICS APC Assessor, Counsellor and Mentor providing support to candidates through the APC process. He is also the RICS Matrics South-East Regional Chair and the RICS Matrics Oxford Chair where he seeks to engage and give back to his profession and community.Experience includes: Lead consultant; Project Management; Contract Administrator; Building Surveys; Schedules of Condition; Dilapidation Surveys; Measured Surveys; AutoCAD; Rights to Light; and Party Walls matters.
