ABOUT CHRISTOPHER HACKETT

I am working towards the CFP designation as I continue to grow my career in financial services. I am a graduate of the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Finance. At UVic the integrative and experiential learning greatly improved my ability to solve problems with agility and address issues from multiple perspectives. My Bachelor of Commerce Degree gave me the opportunity to complete three co-op work terms with reputable financial services companies. I also traveled to Sweden to complete an exchange at Handelshogskolan, Gothenburg University. I am charismatic, professional in my demeanor and neat in appearance. At Scotiabank, as a customer service representative, I have worked in a team to provide excellent customer service. At GE Capital I aided Account Managers liaise with clients, provide value-added customer service and completed financial analyses. As Student Council President at Meadowridge School and Community Leader at the University of Victoria, I have developed the ability to communicate with, organize and empower those with whom I work. I am a dynamic and outgoing individual who looks forward to working well with and for others.
