About Christopher Gruber
Well-rounded individual that has an extensive knowledge from Special Operations to Recruiting while serving in the U.S. Army for 21 years. Knowledge base dramatically increased with extensive work in the following areas; North Central US Senior Regional Manager with IIF Data Solutions in Fort Knox, Kentucky; Policy Specialist for the U.S. Army\'s Military Awards Program at U.S. Army Human Resources Command in Fort Knox, Kentucky; Systems Redesign Coordinator at VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System in Honolulu, Hawaii and Louisville, Kentucky; Chief of Strategy and Innovation with the U.S. Army Regional Dental Command (Pacific) in Honolulu, Hawaii. These positions have allowed me to expand my insight and awareness of laws (Executive Orders), policies (Department of Defense and all Services to include the Department of Veteran Affairs) and assorted regulatory guidance. My current position within the Department of the Defense will allow me to achieve my personal objectives on expanding my knowledge of Lean concepts to include Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CI2); Lean Six Sigma (LSS) utilizing hybrid approaches/models. This hybrid approach to simplify and expand the U.S. Air Force models of CI2 and or Lean methodology at the 926th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is exciting times with a focus on ROI and the deliberate implementation of SmartSheets to create a Common Operating Picture (COP) to this new organization. Since the inception of the Trump Administration, I have been afforded the opportunity to take the Deferred Resignation Program and Retire at the end of the year. I look forward to the possibilities that may abound in the near future.
