GIAS is the rewrite and modernized version of the legacy Genelco Life+ and Group+ platforms.• illumifin India Global Capacity Center – Partnering with the offshore management team, built-out offshore development capacity from 5 to 50+ in the span of a year. Illumifin India has employees across IT and operations.• Modernization of GIAS core policy administration system – initiated cloud enablement of GIAS on Azure cloud and open-source stack (MySQL, Linux); • Further matured agile practice with DevOps enablement across product and client delivery teams; test automation coverage increased 100% to cover group component.• Reduced vendor spend by roughly 25% by phasing out legacy technology stacks and consolidating internal environment footprint.• Partnered with sales and account management to successfully convert two clients to upgrades from legacy Genelco platforms to GIAS upgrade projects.
