Throughout my journey, I have remained committed to creating an environment where all community members thrive.I believe all students are capable of mastering grade-level content when provided with high expectations, meaningful support, and a culturally responsive learning environment. Our students bring rich cultural backgrounds and lived experiences into the classroom, which is why I advocate for practices that are data-informed, research-based, and identity-affirming.I also believe that strong schools are built in partnership with families and the broader community. Engaging parents and caregivers as active partners in the learning process—and honoring the strengths they bring—helps create a more connected, supportive, and inclusive educational experience for students. When schools and communities work together, we expand opportunities for student success both inside and outside the classroom.Student achievement requires a holistic approach—one that prioritizes social-emotional well-being, instructional excellence, family engagement, and professional growth. Equally important is fostering an inclusive school culture where all members feel seen, valued, and empowered.In 2019, I was honored to be named a finalist for Alliance Teacher of the Year—recognition that reflects both my growth as an educator and the success of the students I have served. Today, I remain committed to supporting students, educators, and families in becoming the best versions of themselves.

   Serving the community of Alliance Piera Barbaglia Shaheen Health Services Academy High School as Principal-in-Residence where I support all aspects of school leadership with a focus on instructional excellence, talent development, and equity-driven culture by setting and executing a clear vision for college readiness, using data-informed strategies to drive academic outcomes. I coach and develop staff through regular feedback and professional development. I foster a positive, inclusive school culture grounded in high expectations, collaboration, and community engagement. All with a commitment to an anti-racist, pro-Black mission to ensure all students—particularly Black and Brown scholars—thrive academically and personally in a safe, affirming environment.
