Wind Turbine Technician - Offshore Ge Ct @Boston Energy

Following AWP’s I perform Mechanical, Electrical & Commissioning tasks to the GE Haliade X Turbines. As the M&E Team Lead I am Actively supporting the Commissioning team to deliver close-out tasks, with hands-on involvement in a broad range of electrical and mechanical scopes. Experience includes electrical installation and pre-energisation inspections, cold commissioning activities, component replacement and system servicing. Key tasks have included Arc Flash sensor replacement, slip-ring and encoder change-outs, retrofit works throughout the tower, and replacement of anchor points.Demonstrated strong troubleshooting capabilities in fault finding, successfully navigate through HMI for Turbine operations, firmware updates, sensor diagnostics, including replacement of converter cooling sensors. Additional tasks include fibre optic cleaning, renewing communication line fittings, generator refuelling, grease pump replacement, and bolt torquing to specified standards. Proven ability to operate efficiently alongside Commissioning Engineers to ensure safe, timely, and quality-driven project delivery.
