Project Manager as part of the TfGM MREP Team, focusing on the delivery of M&E enhancements and renewals.Chris is responsible for co-ordinating with relevant project, engineering and operational disciplines including Commercial, Risk, Planning, Information Management, Safety and Environment to take forward emerging schemes to develop an intricate understanding of the proposals, identifying impact, interfaces, scope gaps and risks. Also responsible for co-ordinating with Keolis-Amey Metrolink; TfGM selected suppliers; TfGM and District highway teams & District active travel teams; Network Rail; and other relevant stakeholders.The role includes:• Identify and validate assumptions and dependencies. • Review buildability and maintainability of designs.• Understand the current and proposed operational models, and identify operational and engineering changes required, including but not limited to infrastructure, systems, rolling stock and procedural.• Engage stakeholders and obtain internal and external approvals to designs and operational plans.• Ensure clear and documented information management processes with internal and external stakeholders.• Develop Project Execution Plans. • Complete gap analysis on proposals developed to date and draft scope and requests for services to fill the gaps.• Developing site information for project sites.• Identify and develop solutions to complex engineering challenges during design and construction phases.• Ensure development of hazard identification processes throughout the project lifecycle.• Input and support to commercial, risk management, planning and other functions to ensure robust schedules, cost and risk management plans are developed.• Facilitate lessons learnt exercises at the various stages of the lifecycle.• Comply with TfGM Safety Management Systems and PMP.
