ABOUT CHRISTOPHER DE GRUCHY

In 1995 I joined Shell Canada\'s Montreal East Refinery as a machinist and millwright. Responsibilities consisted of the analysis and repair of failures on all rotating and reciprocating equipement. Experience working with compressors, pumps gear boxes, turbines, ventillators, vibration analysis. In I took on additional responsibilities of turn around planning and of site planning and scheduling for the maintenance departement. In 2008 I accepted a staff position as scheduler and then moved into the position of mecanical supervisor. After close to 16 years with the company, Shell has now decided to close down the Montreal refinery. Starting october 2010 I began working in Fort Mackay Alberta for DCM on CNRL\'s Horizon upgrader. I was responsible for planning and scheduling mechanical work for various production areas of the upgrader. In November 2011 I began working for Barrick Gold in the Dominican Republic on the Pueblo Viejo mine site. I was the mechanical supervisor for the pressure oxidation and oxygen units of the mine. Still working with pumps, compressors, mechanical seals, compander. Presently I have returned to Montreal, working for Suncor Energy in their Montreal East refinery as an industrial mechanic. Specialties: Overhaul and repair of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, gear boxes, turbines. Familiar with Dresser-Rand, Flowserve, Elliot, Philadelphia, United, GE. Experience working on non-contact magnetic bearings SKF (formerly S2M corporation)
