About Christopher Davis
I am a historian conducting research into the history of U.S. military interventions in long-term, asymmetrical conflicts. My current work focuses on writing books about the history of the U.S. Army in Afghanistan from 2014 to 2021. I have also conducted extensive research into the U.S. occupation of Haiti from 1915 to 1934. My professional goal is and has been to research and analyze the lessons learned in terms of policy, administration, tactics and strategy during this and similar, long-term conflicts.
