As a Program Manager for the Road to Hire College Team, my role is dedicated to empowering 800+ first generation, underrepresented college students, guiding them towards high-earning STEM and business careers. My key responsibilities include- People Management: Directly manage, train, evaluate, and develop a team of 5 Student Career Coaches, focusing on delivering exceptional guidance and support to our students. My leadership ensures our team operates cohesively, maintaining a high standard of mentorship that addresses the unique challenges and aspirations of our scholars- Program Development: Spearhead the design, building, and facilitation of comprehensive summer programming that not only aims at developing college talent but also supports the end-to-end operations of our initiatives. This involves a proactive approach to identify and address gaps and opportunities. Additionally, I assist in the management of data and the use of tracking tools and dashboards to evaluate scholar performance, discern trends, and gauge the effectiveness of program changes- Partnership Expansion: Actively collaborate with Employer Partners and University allies to enrich our programming and enhance student exposure to real-world experiences. These partnerships are vital in expanding our scholars\' academic and professional development opportunities, fostering a network of support that accelerates their path to success- Caseload Management & Student Advising: Oversee a comprehensive caseload of 70 students, including 20 high school seniors and 50 college seniors, providing individualized, end-to-end support during critical academic and career transition points. This work includes academic counseling, college and major exploration, professional development, college navigation, financial education, and employer networking. Through structured check-ins, goal setting, and data-informed advising, I ensure students remain on track toward graduation and post-secondary success.
