I start work at 13 yrs old come home from work I had help take care of my dad -mom dad & my mom -mom & dad. my dad open up mechanic shop 1964 not knowing what I want kind of trade I was going to do. god already knew my plan it just fell right in my hands i became a mechanic & machinst & welder electrician, Free fabrication and a plumber, my last years of high school August 17,1977 turn 18yrs old on August 31 join army right out of high school. I went to work for state as a mechanic. I got paperwork to leave for Boot Camp Fort Bliss, Texas December 18,1977. I was supposed to leave.on December 17,1977 I had my automobile accident. when I look down at radio. ran off the road on to shoulder saw creosote post I thought there power line I didn’t know they were mailbox on creosote post.pull on stair wheel pull to back on road & when I did my foot slipped off the brake pedal. hit accelerator and truck went in to a spend and I cross over road hit pine tree broke my neck C2 through C7 i was transported to hospital in Baton Rouge stayed intensive care wear they put weights on my head see if my neck would grow back together and It didn’t.grow back together. so they had to surgery on my neck.to do infusion. they some bones out my back to do the infusion but wild they was doing the infusion. They had to stop because my lungs collapsed and they had to put Tracheostomy to help me breathe Tuesday night they doctor told mom dad that I wasn’t going to make it though night doctor told mom & dad to make funeral arrangements. Wednesday morning I was sitting upon in the bed.doctor said I never walk again. One year after my accident I start to walk again.they was give me breathing treatments in hospital they would clapped on my side to break up mucus blood clots hit my lungs doctors told mom & dad I died doctor pronounced me dead. & when I woke up my room was full of doctors nurse respiratory therapy. doctors said they don’t know how I survived blood clot.i know survived it because it was god watching over me everything I went through god had his hand on me. god show me how quick he could take my life. god gave me second chances at life god never gave up me I got my rude awakening,god gave me the ability to stand to be able to walk again Follow me on LinkedIn:http://linkedin.com/in/christopher-monestere-retired-86a37136
