Lead the delivery of Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR & M) activities across the entire Mission Systems business unit at Babcock (some of the projects include Mil SatComms Solutions, Attack Subs WHALS, RN intercept and Escort Boat, Electronic Warefare Systems, Destroyer Combat Systems etc.)- Develop assurance strategies through predictive AR & M model- Provide leadership to the engineering team to deliver a range of new and modified subsystems and services covering a range of Military and Commercial technologies (COTS) and software- Develop and implement strategies for ensuring the engineering team has the right capacity and capability to meet the needs of the AR & M program- Oversee the development of new/enhanced services, systems, and capabilities to ensure that evolving end-user needs are met- Represent the company at stakeholder meetings, governance forums, and design reviews-Drive a multi miliion pound programme of technology change to enhance AR & M- Capability development of the Mission Systems AR & M engineering team- Ensure the engineering team meets the needs of various programs by developing strategies for staff movement and professional development- Lead the development and implementation of AR & M strategies and AR & M plan to enhance system reliability and maintainability and hence, make system meet their availability goals- Manage the performance and development of the AR & M engineering team and AR & M capabilities.
