My work focuses on supporting trainee teachers from diverse vocational and academic backgrounds to develop their professional practice, confidence, and identity as educators.I deliver the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills), alongside conducting lesson observations, providing developmental feedback, and supporting trainee teachers through mentoring and academic study. My teaching draws on a range of experiences across adult education, higher education delivery, and curriculum design.Prior to my current role, I held positions within education and the military, where I developed strong leadership, organisational, and training skills. These experiences continue to inform my structured and supportive approach to teacher development.I hold an MA in Teaching and Learning (UCL IOE) and Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA), and I am currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education (EdD) at UWE Bristol.I am particularly interested in teacher education, mentoring, and the development of professional identity, and I am keen to contribute to Higher Education through teaching and research-informed practice.
