About Christopher Borras
I am a healthcare professional with experience in emergency medicine, patient logistics, vascular access, and healthcare leadership. I currently work at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as a Patient Logistics Coordinator and a member of the Vascular Access Team.Previously, I worked as an Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician, where I gained hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Before that, I volunteered in the surgical services department at Baptist Health South Florida, where I founded and helped coordinate the Surgical Services Volunteer Program.I am a certified and licensed EMT and hold BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association, as well as Stop the Bleed certification through HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. In addition, I have one year of customer service experience with Koning Restaurants International. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida International University while continuing to expand my clinical experience and work toward a career in medicine.
