As Curriculum Coordinator for the WLHS Conference PK–8 schools, I serve as the strategic lead for aligning instruction, assessment, and curriculum across multiple Lutheran schools—all to the glory of God.I work with teachers, principals, and high school department coordinators to develop a guaranteed and viable curriculum, rooted in Marzano’s research and implemented through DuFour’s PLC framework. My work includes:Designing and leading Curriculum Design Teams (CDTs) in core subjects Developing professional development series and asynchronous coursework to build teacher capacityCreating instructional frameworks, scope and sequences, and proficiency scales aligned to priority standardsFacilitating cross-school collaboration through data analysis, resource evaluation, and conference-wide workshopsEnsuring vertical and horizontal alignment to prepare students for high school success and lifelong Christian serviceI focus on systemic change: unifying practices, improving instructional equity, and using data to drive decisions—all while fostering a collaborative culture among educators. My ultimate goal? That every student receives a Christ-centered, high-quality education that equips them academically, spiritually, and personally.
