ABOUT CHRISTOPHER RHODES

With a personal lived experience of navigating various mental health services and wellbeing modalities for many years, I recognise the challenge it can be and empathise with the journey of your own well-being. I blend mindfulness, professional voice training tools, and 10+years meditation practice to help you navigate life with a bit more ease. I\'m also training in ecotherapy (nature-based practices like Shinrin Yoku / Forest Bathing), bringing a grounded, nature-connected approach into my counselling work.I’m passionate about helping people build calm, confidence, and clarity in their lives - especially in a world that often feels overwhelming. I’ve recently been supporting Higher Health\'s Skills4Living pilot programme in the UK, supporting to develop emotional wellbeing and practical life tools. Alongside speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live and public events sharing my perspective on what meaningful support looks like today.I bring experience as a professional actor, having trained for 3 years in a high calibre London based drama school and working professionally on TV sets. I’ve developed a deep understanding of the resilience needed, and the essential human \'skills\', requires to truly thrive in your given sector or industry - presence, and emotional communication ranking high. Without these fundamentals we often under-perform amongst teams and much of the time, the reason lies right beneath our noses. Skills I see as essential, and that now inform how I hold space for others in wellbeing sessions and workshops. Aiming to develop those changes that can subtly but very powerfully leave each person with a sense that they now hold themselves more assuredly for themselves privately, and within a team, to help them stand out and stand amongst the people that really matter to them in their lives. Sometimes all we need is to see a different perspective \'you don\'t, know, until you know\'. Then when \'you see it, you can\'t unsee it\'. I’ve been meditating since I was 15 and have always been drawn to practices that cultivate awareness and self-trust. I’m constantly exploring new methods and psychology-backed tools to support wellbeing - not just for myself, but to empower others to feel more grounded, confident, and alive.Whether it’s through workshops, creative facilitation, or conversations, I care most about helping people - especially those struggling with low self-esteem - reconnect with their worth and discover the best version of themselves.Let’s connect if you\'re working on anything at the intersection of wellbeing, creativity, and human potential.
