About Christophe Charles

Christophe is a problem solver whose love for puzzles has grown into a passion for engineering. He is a first-year master\'s student at Columbia University and a proud UCLA alumnus.At UCLA, Christophe was actively involved in organizations such as NSBE, Afrikan Men\'s Collective, and where he developed as a culturally competent Black engineer. Proud member of the Gamma Xi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, he continuously serves his community on campus and beyond.Professionally, Christophe\'s experience spans electronics engineering, software development, and data analytics. He has automated hardware test procedures with Python, designed and converted circuits into PCB implementations, and improved system performance through multithreading in C++. He has also worked on data-driven projects analyzing large-scale demographic and public health datasets, applying statistical methods, regression modeling, and Python-based algorithms to develop equitable solutions.Ultimately, he hopes to give back to the world by bridging the gap between public policy and STEM, combining his passions for technology with service and advocacy.

   As an intern in the Ground Systems Development Department at Northrop Grumman, I primarily worked with test sets, which combine custom drawers and consumer devices to test the hardware and software of other NG systems and products. My main roles involve drawer checkouts, circuit design, and software testing automation— among many others.
