ABOUT CHRISTOPHE LOPEZ
I am a researcher in neuroscience at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). My research in neuroscience focuses on vestibular and multisensory integration in healthy humans as well as on functional recovery after lesions of the vestibular system. I am currently conducting these studies in healthy participants, as well as in brain-damaged patients, epileptic patients and vestibular-defective patients using both behavioural and neuroimaging techniques (e.g. high-density EEG, intracranial EEG). Techniques: electroencephalography: high-density surface EEG and intracranial EEG (epileptic patients), galvanic vestibular stimulation, caloric vestibular stimulation, psychophysics, visual vertical, vestibular-evoked myogenic potentiels (VEMPs), functional MRI, videonystagmography, posturography, kinematic analysis, video motion analysis
