Christoph Belanger, CFA, is a seasoned financial services professional and an accomplished investment professional with over twenty years of experience encompassing client management, portfolio management (fixed income) and trading. He currently works at BNY Mellon in the capacity of Senior Relationship Manager focused on major global banking and broker-dealer relationships. Prior to his current role, Christoph worked as a senior trader in Deutsche Bank AG’s Non-Core Operations Unit (NCOU) where he established its municipal bond trading capability and subsequently lead the risk-managed unwind of a $12.5 billion structured and leveraged municipal bond portfolio. Prior to his assignment at Deutsche Bank AG, Christoph helped manage a well diversified $2 billion municipal bond investment portfolio for PB Capital Corporation, a member of the Deutsche Bank Group. Formally credit trained, Christoph previously also managed a portfolio of corporate bonds, high yield corporate loans, special situations and municipal exposures from a credit perspective.
