I’m passionate about the social impact of technology and fascinated by improving life in the offline world with the online one. I love building tools that empower people. When we develop tools, my first question is “What does it do for the people?” I treat our assumptions as hypotheses and test them to understand what works. That’s how we begin to see the product through our customers\' eyes. Originally from Germany, I was brought to the U.S. by Apple. Inspired by the German Bauhaus style and Apple’s product design principles, my guiding tenet in product design is simplicity with focus on the functionality of each component.
