As the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at National Bank Independent Network (NBIN), I\'m responsible for Business Development, Client Training & Implementations in addition to overseeing the Product & Risk Management teams at NBIN. NBIN provides more than trade execution, clearing and custody services to over 350 firms ranging from IIROC Independent Broker Dealers, provincially regulated Portfolio Managers, Investment Fund Managers and most recently MFDA advisors. We have a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex problems, partnering and helping independent wealth management firms grow their businesses. Fueling my passion is the constant desire to evolve and improve by status quo and focusing my efforts where they can have a positive impact, both at the professional and personal level. While I am proud of my professional accomplishments, it is the time that I spend working with adults with special needs that I find most rewarding and humbling. Having a younger sister that is special needs and as a board member of the Luso Canadian Charitable Society, I have the opportunity to meet the most remarkable and exceptional individuals that remind me constantly of the importance of being yourself, finding the most effective means of communicating and having a positive impact!
