ABOUT CHRISTINE LAW

I am a tenacious, data-driven healthcare IT professional with 10+ years’ experience. I’ve had a variety of experiences spanning the healthcare and tech realms. Two of my goals are to make healthcare technology more accessible to others and to implement the most innovative products possible for my clients. I am particularly adept at managing complex technical workflows and thinking strategically as it pertains to business process improvement. I also have a knack for developing cross-functional relationships, coordinating projects with multiple dependencies, and collaborating with my teammates to deliver the best solutions possible to clients.While pursuing my Biology degree, I worked in a variety of labs collecting, synthesizing, and interpreting data from the experiments we conducted. I used this experience behind the lab bench to analyze and translate clinical data from relational databases in the pharmaceutical space. After this time in the clinical world, I transitioned to a user acceptance testing role at Tufts Health Plan. This experience taught me all about the software development life cycle and what it takes to ship quality software/products to production on an enterprise-level. Following this role, I was curious to learn more about what happens in the provider’s world. After I began at athena, I was given a crash course in our different products and how to resolve integration issues within each of these products. I have since transferred to a project management role, where I manage a variety of clients and ensure their integrations needs are met for their go-live on the athena platform. Inquisitive by nature, when I am not working to solve my clients’ issues, questions, or concerns, I am most likely researching something, whether it be the next vacation I take, where I get dinner on Friday night, or what book I should read next. In my free time, I’m most likely travelling, at a concert, or running around with my husky puppy.
