ABOUT CHRISTINE A. KRAHLING

Christine Krahling is a writer, editor, wellness workshop presenter, and the host of the podcast, “Bloom Where You Are Planted.\" Her essay of the same name appears in the book,\"Nothing But the Truth So Help Me God: 73 Women on Life\'s Transitions,” and in The Shriver Report. Christine holds a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University, is a founding member of the online coaching program Camp Reinvention, and certified in Mental Health First Aid. Christine is also a former editor of Lehigh Valley Marketplace and Lehigh Valley Good Taste magazines and has been an editorial consultant and books editor for CoveyClub.com. Christine’s article, “Seven Tips for a Successful Book Club” received an honorable mention in the 2011 Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. Her article,\"Five Common Illnesses That Are Often Misdiagnosed as Something Else\" appears on Prevention.com. Her work has also been featured in the Hallmark book 50 Truths Worth Knowing, in Lehigh Valley Style Magazine and on CoveyClub.com. Christine’s Op-Ed pieces-on how well we know our neighbors, and her experience at Opening Day at the new Yankee Stadium-were published in The Morning Call (a Tribune newspaper). Christine has been featured on “The Idea Space” podcast,\"A Glimpse Inside\" podcast, and in The 10-Minute Mentor\'s guide, “Get Interviewed: An Insider’s Guide to Getting Booked on In-Demand Shows.” Her podcast has also been featured on the blog,\"Harrowstyle.\" She has been a guest DJ on Sirius XM\'s E Street Radio, sharing her favorite Bruce Springsteen songs and concert memories. Christine has also interviewed Springsteen photographer Nicki Germaine. Christine helped develop the first Master Class Series for St. James\' Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, NY with the program “Confronting the Opioid Epidemic,\" which was a huge success. Christine\'s background also includes fundraising and development. She created the celebrity bartending event \"Cocktails for Chadwick\" for Chadwick Residence (a women’s transitional housing facility) in Syracuse, NY, raising $2K in two hours. She also chaired the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York\'s Fashion Show in 2015, helping to raise more than Christine believes there is almost nothing that a good cupcake can’t fix, and while she has met many a celebrity in her day, she\'s still chasing Bruce Springsteen.
