ABOUT CHRISTINE HOEKENGA

I help people and mission-driven organizations connect with others - whether online, in a classroom, or in the great outdoors. I\'ve trained as an environmental scientist, a science journalist, and a data analyst. I\'ve worked as a researcher, writer, editor, educator, and digital communications strategist for nonprofits, government agencies, publications, and clients in the private sector. I bring all those experiences and perspectives to bear on projects, and I love translating complex, technical information into programs, text or multimedia that hold an audience\'s attention.I am a storyteller and teacher at heart, but project management is my second nature. I enjoy working with a diverse team on all aspects of a creative endeavor to make sure that the stars align in time for the deadline.I love technology when it\'s used inclusively and elegantly, and I enjoy helping others embrace the digital age (painful as that may be sometimes).
