ABOUT CHRISTINE E. PETIT

I help organizations and leaders navigate change—especially in moments of transition, growth, or uncertainty. I’m an organizational consultant, professional interim executive, and leadership coach with more than two decades of experience in nonprofits and social-impact organizations.I hold a PhD in sociology, with a focus on race and class inequality and social change, and I bring a systems lens to everything I do—from strategy and operations to people, culture, and governance. Over the years, I’ve worked across public policy, fund development, board relations, staff and leadership development, communications, and organizational planning. I’ve guided organizations through rebrands, funding growth, program expansion, and leadership transitions.I’m trained through the Interim Executives Academy and work as a professional interim leader. Most recently, I served as Interim Executive Director at Rancho Los Alamitos in Long Beach, CA, leading a team of 24 staff and supporting the Board of Directors and a volunteer community of roughly 150 during a period of change.Alongside my executive work, I coach leaders and teams who want to communicate better, lead with intention, and stay grounded in their values.
