Global programme to increase commercial acumen. Attendees developed an essential understanding of the business which enabled them to better understand the decisions senior management made and the actions required to support the commercial strategy.• Warwick County Council. As part of the transformation agenda a business simulation game was embedded in the assessment process to identify the skills and behaviours of staff, ensuring the Council had the ‘right people in the right place’ to meet the challenges it faced. • Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK, South Africa and India). Facilitation of a Business Simulation to develop business acumen and improve communication between technical specialists and their clients with wider business responsibilities. The course is part of the Institute’s qualification programme•National Grid. Design and delivery of a business simulation game based on new strategic goals for the industry. Increased staff understanding of changes and enabled them to adjust their actions and decision making to meet new goals. • Infineum. A conference activity exploring the different requirements for building relationships in a new geographic market. The be-spoke business simulation game created a shared understanding of the challenges faced by managers with different experiences and from different cultural backgrounds.
