About Christine Ann Stevens
I am a dedicated fundraising professional with more than a decade of fundraising experience leading dynamic teams. After an early career in marketing, I made a purposeful pivot to development, where I have since demonstrated a track record of success within some of our most beloved cultural institutions.I most recently served as the Vice President of Development at LA Opera where I lead a team of 20+ fundraising professionals responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a strong donor community that contributes more than $28MM in annual giving and more than $5MM in campaign extraordinary giving. My career experience also includes key fundraising roles at Houston Symphony, Theatre Under The Stars, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, and Houston Grand Opera.A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 2018, I am an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) in both Houston and Los Angeles and am currently serving as President-Elect of AFP Houston and Chair of the Scholarship Committee. I am deeply dedicated to continuing education and hold an MBA with a concentration in Finance and a graduate certificate in Finance from the University of Houston – Downtown. And as a passionate advocate for civic engagement, I also serve as a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar, helping Houstonians participate in the democratic process.
