As programming assistant, I am responsible for providing assistance to the Director of Compass Programming in managing a comprehensive program for individuals with varied sub-types of Dementia and who are in different stages of their memory impairment. The goal of programming is to enhance the residents\', who are living with Dementia, social, intellectual, creative, and physical well-being. As assigned, I instruct and supervise other assistants and resident care associates in their participation in activity programming and serve as a liaison with family members, the larger community, and care providers. My main focus in this role is to treat all Compass Memory Support residents with the compassion, care, dignity, and respect of which they are so deserving.
