ABOUT CHRISTINE ASHLEY WESTON

I’m a passionate and experienced leader in data and operational design, currently working as Head of Tribe Communications & Culture within Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management COO. My focus is on embedding a data-driven culture across our teams and giving colleagues the tools and skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing data and AI landscape. With over 20 years in financial services, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful data can be in driving change and delivering results. I love identifying opportunities for automation and efficiencies, then turning those into real, tangible improvements that make a difference. My work is all about building resilience, improving governance, and creating solutions that stick.I’m also really passionate about communication and collaboration. Whether it’s through leading our communications strategy, running townhall meetings, or mentoring colleagues, I’m always focused on building connections and supporting people. I particularly enjoy coaching and developing talent, with a strong focus on supporting women and neurodiverse individuals in the data space. What motivates me most is seeing people and ideas thrive. I believe that inclusive workplaces and data-driven cultures don’t just drive better results—they make work a place where everyone can succeed and grow.
