ABOUT CHRISTINE SHAHNAZARIAN
I have recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a BS in Public Health Sciences. My goal is to familiarize myself day by day in the world of healthcare and medicine, while applying the skills which I have developed along my college journey. As a hospital volunteer, shadower, medical assistant, research assistant, and a medical scribe, I have viewed and contributed to different approaches in medicine within three different hospitals, clinics, and various specialties. I hope to broaden my knowledge in research and find more opportunities in the sub-specialty of space medicine. I aspire to aid the underserved communities who have limited medical resources, along with bridging the gaps in healthcare by providing equitable services in the Hispanic community and the Armenian diaspora. My goals additionally consist of breaking the language barrier within these two groups. During my free time, I enjoy cooking dishes from around the world, reading books, hanging out with my incredible friends, and playing tennis!
