My practice involves the representation of individuals and families in all aspects of estate and wealth transfer planning, including the planning and drafting of basic estate planning documents such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney, as well as the implementation of sophisticated planning techniques involving qualified personal residence trust, grantor retained annuity trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts, family limited partnerships/limited liability companies, charitable remainder trusts and charitable foundations and other wealth transfer techniques. I represent executors, trustees and beneficiaries on a wide variety of trust and estate issues. I represent and advise executors and trustees as to their fiduciary duties in administering estates. I also represent fidcuciaries in IRS estate and gift tax audits, and I have obtained Private Letter Rulings under Treas. Reg. Section 30•••00. A particular area of focus for me is the representation of clients in estate, trust and guardianship disputes. I have represented individials and corporate fiduciaries, beneficiaries, creditors, as well as individuals subject to incapacity and guardianship proceedings. I have successfully litigated cases at the trial and appellate level. I am licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.
