I am a records & information management consultant with a background in very large businesses. My ideal client will have a huge off-site storage footprint with multiple accounts and awful metadata. They will have multiple shared drives, copies everywhere, and a program that isn’t doing what their policy says they are. I’ve been there and done it all, and given the authority, I can move mountains for you. I do not do the maintenance aspect, I do not want to leech off companies long-term – I’m here for the audit, update, program updates and training for your team to continue all on its own. I typically save each company a substantial amount of money, while adjusting KPIs & changing the company’s perspective on the value of its information assets. I\'m lucky enough to be able to bounce between a few of my passions & talents. And when one gets overwhelming or taxing, I have the flexibility to follow the flow into new adventures. I\'ve been a life-long healer through therapeutic bodywork, and at one time I committed myself to a brick-and-mortar location with all kinds of cool classes and life-changing sessions, but these days I appreciate the luxury of a home office and the flexibility to hold classes in other spaces. I\'ve also created an amazing pain salve that will ultimately help fund my pet project, the Bee Multiplication Project, to do just what it says. I\'m a bee guardian and advocate, and I don\'t wear protective gear when I interact with my bees. I will always be taking clients serious about their healing journey, wherever I\'m located. You can find out more about this line of work via my website or my YouTube channel I see my other two professions as very related, and all three are connected to a whole-istic approach because the physical and emotional are always connected. To appease the mental chaos of an ADHD mind, I had to wrangle the clutter in my life and make all those decisions that had piled up over the years. Records & information management (RIM from here out) is the exact same as when I help someone process their emotional pain or their physical clutter. It\'s all the same. And when I\'m finished, the \"space,\" whatever that is. feels better. I love helping others clean up their spaces because they literally become a new person before your eyes. We all get overwhelmed and just need that helping hand back to where our best selves can function and thrive. RIM is the same for me - I see it as a large-scale clean-out, in retrospect. I mentally classify things in all the same categories, put like with like, see what we need to keep, toss, and protect and make it all look good and fit in the nice little boxes. Voilà! My secret to success in a nutshell. In RIM specifically, I am an outlier. I can see the whole picture of the business in a very short amount of time & with the eye of an auditor, and because my experience, I was birthed in the global setting. First with a single site for British Petroleum, and then later creating a world-class program for Honeywell Aerospace and its 85+ locations worldwide. If you can give flexibility and expect a truly balanced lifestyle, I AM your best bet.
