About Christine Moore

Christine Moore is the President of 9-Delta Analytical, a laboratory for academic research groups, non-profit organizations and other agencies requiring the analysis of biological specimens, specifically oral fluid and blood for drugs and alcohol. She is the former Chief Toxicologist in the Rapid Diagnostics Division of Abbott, having retired in April 2021. There, she directed the laboratory used for testing blood and oral fluid specimens from multiple roadside surveys including the NHTSA National Roadside Surveys (2007, 20••••14), and the Canadian Surveys (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018). Dr. Moore has a BSc degree in Applied Chemistry, a Masters’ degree in Forensic Science, a PhD and a DSc in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and the American Association of Clinical Chemistry. Christine is Past-President of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (2008), the Society of Hair Testing (20••••14) and the Mid-West Association of Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring She serves on the Editorial Boards of Drug Testing and Analysis and the Journal of Analytical Toxicology and has over 120 peer-reviewed publications regarding the analysis of drugs in different biological matrices.
