About Christine Merrick
My humble beginnings in the Graphic Arts Industry started almost 25 years ago. I was fortunate to be exposed to the fast paced commercial industry from the production side in color, composition and coordinating. It was right about then I began displaying the saying everywhere:\"Choose a job you love and you\'ll never work a day in your life.\"-and I feel that I never have. With progression I found the specialty training of the publishing industry and for 17 years served as an Account Manager servicing several of the worlds largest publishers by helping direct the production of their textbooks. I traveled regularly to NYC, and Orlando, and anywhere else the client needed me to be. I worked with Art Directors, Production Managers, Editors, Printers, Photo Researchers, and production crews literally all over the world as a lead for my company. I served as a project manager for programs acting as the liaison between production and editorial, and loved every minute. Changes in that industry led me to the best of both worlds-my current employer: Hueosity.
