Design and implement comprehensive global insurance programs, including professional, general, workers compensation, auto, property, and executive liability coverages.• Lead the renewal process, overseeing budgeting, application development, program design, and negotiation of coverage terms with brokers, commercial insurers and two owned Captives. • Serve as a primary liaison between Stantec and the insurance industry, managing relationships with brokers, insurers, and claims representatives. • Collaborate with the HSSE group to support and enhance global loss control programs and risk mitigation practices.• Execute risk management processes, including identification of loss exposures, contract and project risk analysis, and consultation with business operations to implement cost-effective mitigation strategies. Experienced in OCIP/Wrap and Single Project Professional Liability programs. • Perform comprehensive Due Diligence of potential target firms for acquisitions and handle the post transaction integration for all lines of insurance coverage, bonds, legacy claims and integrate other risk management tools and processes. • Communicate key insurance matters and recommendations to staff at all levels, while monitoring industry trends impacting risk and insurance.• Work with the in-house Legal group to manage claims processes including, intake/reporting, insurance coverage analysis, claims finance management, and administration of risk/insurance management systems and databases.
