Provides technical review and regulatory affairs strategies. Current focus includes regulatory efforts related to air and water quality issues. Focused on economic and regulatory feasibility of beneficial reuse of oilfield produced water. CV-SALTS Public Education and Outreach Committee (PEOC) Member. Previous work included pursuing an aquifer exemption expansion in an active oilfield from EPA under DOGGR primacy. Additionally working to obtain various permits from RWQCB. Recent training has included basic and advanced CEQA and NEPA workshops, as well as certification to prepare and implement Dust Control Plans approved by APCD. Currently a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (Pacific Section AAPG), and San Joaquin Geologic Society. Participates, on behalf of firm, in WSPA activities as an Associate Member. Recently renewed OSHA HAZWOPER and PASSPORT training. Previously worked as an OSHA-certified site safety supervisor. Early career experience included split environmental and geotechnical sampling in support of remediation projects in CA, PA, NY and NJ, as well as in support of Phase 2 ESAs, and geotechnical characterizations. Graduate of the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce\'s Leadership Bakersfield Program. Graduate degree in engineering fully funded via managing and completing a research project for the US DOE at Yucca Mountain, NV on time and on budget.
